Evaluation

“THOUGHT IT WAS GOOD, LIKED THE SOUND TRACK AND FITS WELL WITH THE ADVERT.

THOUGHT THE USE OF STOP FRAME ANIMATION IS DIFFERENT AND LOOKED GOOD.

THE DIFFERENT SCENERY IS A GOOD IDEA!” - CRAIG POTTER

“IT WAS A GOOD USE OF STOP FRAME ANIMATION.

THE IDEA OF USING LOCAL BACKDROPS WAS ALSO GOOD BECAUSE IT GIVES IT A PERSONAL TOUCH.” - ROSIE TYSON

This is what Craig and Rosie thought about my video, personally i think that they are quite good comments.

To begin with i wasnt going to do stop frame animation but after much thought i realised that it was going to be hard seeing as i would of had to buy costumes for me and craig to use but i had no money to do this, so i found a way round this and had to to stop frame animation.

i started off by making my characters out of play-do and then chose some backdrops, i chose some local areas because then it is personal to me.

i think that all my filming and modelling went well and wouldnt have changed anything about it.

i just filmed it in the college because it was just and easier place to do other that taking all the equipment home on my bike.

the editing all went to plan as well i just had to import all the 84 images that i took into iphoto and then share into imovie, i then had to download a soundtrack from youtube and import it into imovie. i chose survivor - eye of th tiger because it was the tune used on the original advert and i thought that it went pretty well with the video.

i thought i managed the time of the project quite well apart from me loosing all my paperwork.

the equipment i had to use was just some play-do and a still camera to take the photos with.

i managed the people well because i was originally going to use me and craig but as i changed it was only me that had to be present whilst taking the pictures.

i think that taking the actual pictures went well but actually making the models stand up didnt, because they would often fall over so i had to use some blue tac and selotape to keep them standing

Diary Entry 3.

I have now chosen to change my idea from me and craig running through town to a 118 style stop frame animation.
I basically chose to do this because i couldn't get hold of any costumes and also because craig is busy doing his own advert, so i may have been pushed for time waiting for him to be free.

Diary Entry 4.

In all the previous lessons thyat i have had working on this task, i have been doing all the necessary paperwork to start filming.
